We are currently hiring 10–12 skilled interior demolition workers for a 3-month project at Walter Reed Medical Center in Rockville, MD. This is a full-time opportunity for experienced demolition professionals who are confident working with a wide range of demo tools and are comfortable on a secure federal job site.

Responsibilities:

• Perform interior demolition work, including the removal of walls, ceilings, flooring, and fixtures

• Operate a variety of hand and power tools including Sawzall, handheld jack hammer, rotary hammer, pry bar, nail puller, and sledgehammer

• Follow safety procedures and job site protocols

• Work as part of a demolition crew under supervision

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

• Comply with all access and security requirements on federal property

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have a valid Employment Authorization Card (EAC)

• Must successfully pass the DBIDS background check and obtain a federal badge

• Proven experience in demolition and tool handling

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Physical ability to perform demanding labor in a construction environment

• Reliable and punctual
