Job Description
We are hiring 2 Asbestos Technicians for an asbestos roofing project in Memphis, Tennessee.
Project Details:
- Location: Memphis, TN
- Open Positions: 2 Asbestos Technicians
- Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
- Per Diem: $25.00 per day
- Hotel: Provided
- Scope: Asbestos roofing work
- Employment Type: Full-time
This opportunity is for qualified asbestos technicians with a current Tennessee asbestos license who are available to join an active project.
Scope of Work
- Perform asbestos abatement involving roofing materials
- Safely remove and handle asbestos-containing materials
- Properly bag and prepare materials for disposal
- Perform job site preparation and cleanup
- Use required PPE and respiratory protection
- Follow OSHA, Tennessee, and project-specific safety procedures
- Follow applicable fall-protection requirements while performing roof work
Job Requirements
- Valid Tennessee asbestos license/certification required
- Current asbestos documentation
- Previous asbestos abatement experience
- Experience working on roofing projects preferred
- PPE and respirator required
- Ability to safely perform work at heights
- Reliable transportation
- Availability to begin work as required
Additional Information
