Job Description


We are hiring Two (2) Asbestos Workers for a short-term project at NASA Wallops Island, located at 175 Chincoteague Road, Wallops Island, VA 23337.

Project Details:

  • Scope of Work: Removal of 100 sq. ft. of floor tile & mastic and removing ceramic tiles in bathrooms

  • Start Date: Thursday, December 11, 2025

  • Duration: 2 days (Thursday and Friday)

  • Pay Rate: $25 per hour

  • Per Diem: $25 per workday

  • Hotel: Available

  • Prevailing Wage: Pending confirmation

Job Requirements

 

  • Virginia Asbestos License

  • Lead Awareness Training Certificate (Lead Abatement Certificate also accepted)

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Real ID (required for site entry)

  • Clean background check

  • Maryland Asbestos License (optional for additional work)

Additional Information

Full-time car cleaning work at IAA yard; steady hours, English not required
